Where are we

We live in the south of Munich, Germany, close to Lake Starnberg.

Coat of Arms

Our family has nothing to do with thatching! Creating the coat of arms with AI for the German name Strohschneider (English Thatcher) was just a fun project.

Nevertheless, there is a really cool explanation that was included with it:
Red stands for strength and courage, gold for dignity and stability. The crossed tools symbolize craftsmanship, the golden sheaf diligence and harvest.
